{Robin} | Forney, Texas Senior Photographer

Robin.  What can I say?  This Forney High School Senior is authentic and powerful.  She’s pensive and intentional and honest. I love that about her.  I knew this just from the first hour into the shoot, but then when she submitted her answers to me for this post, it solidified those beliefs that I had about her.  Her thoughts are compelling.  I commend that, especially coming from an 18 year old.  She is wise beyond her years.  And gosh, she totally could work the camera.  Beautiful girl.  If the saying “the eyes are a window of your soul,” is true then Robin embodies this in every sense.

Robin wanted some nature shots in addition to urban.  Luckily, I was able to find a park in Oakliff that worked so perfectly for us.  The sunlight through the forest-y area and the field was on point.  After shooting here, we headed over to Bishop Arts District in Dallas, just a few miles away.  It’s a trendy, fun area that I know well.   I loved the combination of shots we were able to capture.

I am so proud of you, Robin.  Your wisdom and steadfastness will carry you far.  I wish you so much success and happiness.

major:  Double Major- Computer Science and Vocal Performance, Counseling minor

in 15 years I will: be working for Nintendo.

dream vacation:  Hyrule from Breath of the Wild

favorite meal:  Margharita Flatbread from Chili’s

People would be surprised to know that I: keep my promises.

most influential person in my life:  I have 3, and I can’t place one above the other currently. But John Melton helped me rewrite my future, and the two teachers, Sean Worrell and Nathan Waller, would not be as prevalent in my life without the progress John helped me make. John and Mr. Worrell are both Christians who prioritize their faith over anything and everything, and I am so thankful to have them in my world. John will say that he put out minimal effort in helping me, and that’s exactly why he is the greatest person I have ever known. He doesn’t have to think too hard to do something good, and to him it costs him nothing, whereas with others doing good tends to be a burden. I work to be like him. Our friendship brings me peace.

I’m happiest when: I’m with my favorite people.

My most prized possession:  My two labs I’ve trained for over 4 years, Bo and Luke.

best childhood/high school memory: I’m sorry, but not much will top the times we played video games (super smash bros) on free days or after school in the engineering department. In general all of my good times are directly related to the engineering department of FHS.

my best talent:  Mario Kart. Tilt controls. Fight me.
