Meet Mackensie, cutest little softball player around!  A senior at Forney High School and she and her team are dominating on the field.  She pretty much dominated her photo session, too, although she’s too sweet to admit that.  She was a little shy at first but like always, by the end, these girls can read my mind and they can pose and show me lots of sass, just like I want.

Before the session, I had scoped out this awesome, drab field of dead — weeds, sticks??  Sounds ironic, huh? It looked so cool from the road and when I saw what Mak had brought clothes-wise, I knew we had to shoot there.  A flowy, floral cardigan with lots of color would totally pop with all the gray.  I loved that she was up for it.  We also (carefully) trampled through tall grass and bluebonnets and found another amazing barn, always a favorite of mine.  The more dilapidated, the better. 🙂

I loved our session and I loved getting to know Mak and her mom.  Good luck, playing softball in college, Mak.  I know you’ll do big things all around, sweet girl!
